Hey Fighters, we will give you a roundup of all the bouts available this week that might interest you to enjoy your weekend full of high-action bouts!

Women’sWomen’s Stylistic Action In The UFC Apex

Former women’s bantamweight champ Holly Holm and Brazilian Ketlen Vieira clash in this critical bantamweight matchup to determine who is next in line to challenge the title.

Saturday will mark Holm’sHolm’s first appearance after winning a unanimous decision over Irene Aldana on 4 October 2020. Since then, ““The Preacher’sPreacher’s Daughter”” has been scheduled to compete twice but forced out due to injury and medical issues.

Vieira cemented her standing as one of the top contenders in the 135-pound weight class last November, bouncing back from a split decision loss to Yana Kunitskaya in February and a decision win over Miesha Tate. A victory over Holm could finally earn her that opportunity.

This is a compelling grappler vs. striker matchup. Each woman is best known for one skill — Holm as a kickboxer, Vieira as a grappler — yet each has shown greater diversity and consistent improvement in the other parts of their games. Additionally, Holm has a wealth of experience in five-round fights. It will be interesting to see which of these two can control this contest and establish herself as the No. 1 contender in the bantamweight division.

Hawkeye Prediction: Holm beats Vieira by Unanimous Decision

Strikers Galore On ONE Championship: 157

On Friday, 20 May, ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs. Vienot is topped by a pair of Muay Thai World Title bouts in the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The main event features an exciting battle for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship, as Petchmorakot Petchyindee defends his gold against challenger Jimmy Vienot.

Petchmorakot has an astonishing 163 victories in his career and

has successfully defended it twice since then, defeating Thai legend ““The Boxing Computer”” Yodsanklai Fairtex and Swedish star Magnus ““Crazy Viking”” Andersson. Although the Petchyindee Academy standout has established himself as the undisputed king, there is reason to believe that Vienot could end his reign.

The 26-year-old Frenchman is a former Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, WBC World Champion, and a two-time WMC World Champion. He owns 51 wins, including victories over Rafi Bohic, Yodwicha Banchamek, and Petchmorakot’sPetchmorakot’s training partner Sorgraw Petchyindee. Moreover, Vienot will enter the contest with a 2-inch height advantage over Petchmorakot and momentum from a pair of title wins.

The event also features our Indonesia representative in One Championship, as Elipitua Siregar, after coming from a loss from Senzo Ikeda in his last outing, faces off against one-half of the Catalan brothers, Robin Catalan. Catalan looks to break through the strawweight rankings, and Siregar is essential for him to do that. While Siregar will be more hungry to earn a victory after suffering a loss where he dominated all of the rounds.

Hawkeye Prediction: Petchmorakot Retains His Belt By Split Decision, Elipitua Siregar Wins By Unanimous Decision

One Pride Returns With The Former Champ

Jeka Saragih is ready to climb into the title picture after a long hiatus to face off against Hatoropan Simbolon, and atomweight champion Novan Yeremia defends his title against Ucu Rohendi.

Prediction: Jeka Saragih Wins By TKO, Novan Yeremia Retains His Title By Unanimous Decision.
